Since 1993 Genesis Architecture has been committed to 3D computer modeling of our work. B.I.M., the acronym for Building Information Modeling, is now becoming the new standard in design and construction. The ability to produce 3D documents instead of the traditional 2D CAD drawings provides many advantages in the design and construction process.

1. It is a more thorough approach where the spatial complexities and interferences among various building components can be more clearly seen and integrated.
2. As a design tool we can provide three dimensional color renderings and animations that will help you better visualize the spaces long before they are constructed.
3. To provide more complete documentation for your builder and various subcontractors and vendors.
4. The parametric modeling component of this enables us to incorporate 3D product information (windows, plumbing fixtures, furniture, cabinetry, ect...) directly from the vendors into the working drawings for more accurate and up to date construction drawings and renderings.
