Architect Ken Dahlin discovered his passion for design at an early age spending his high school years honing his drawing and drafting skills. Quickly he discovered his affinity for and threw himself into the study of Prairie-style architecture. Moving on to earn his Master’s Degree in Architecture at the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin, he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was on his way. Dahlin immediately joined the firm of Milwaukee based Shepherd Legan Aldrian. After four-and-a-half years working on multi-family housing projects, Dahlin signed on at Junge and Associates, an architectural firm that specialized in residential design-build.

In the late ‘80s and early 90’s Dahlin’s talents were highly rewarded by the Better Homes & Gardens group winning the “Innovations in Housing” competition two times, capturing the coveted Home of the Year three times, unprecedented to date. In 1992 with these accommodations under his belt, Dahlin branched out on his own and launched Genesis Architecture. His vision of creating an architectural firm that would strive to achieve the pure beauty, harmony, and authentic styling of each and every home came to fruition.

Ken is currently a licensed architect in Wisconsin, Illinois, Arizona, and Nevada.
